Dermal Fillers Maldon

Dermal Fillers

Wrinkles that are a result of lost facial volume and reduced skin elasticity are known as static wrinkles. These wrinkles can be best addressed with Dermal Fillers.

Dermal fillers are a soft injectable gel consisting of stabilised, non-animal hyaluronic acid.

The gel is tissue-friendly and closely resembles the hyaluronic acid that exists naturally in the body. It is long-lasting but not permanent.

About Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are designed to effectively reduce the appearance of unwanted wrinkles, contour the face and create volume. This is to mimic the feel and function of youthful, volumised skin. By carefully injecting the filler into the targeted areas of the face we can add youthful support and fill in these wrinkles.

All treatments are customised to meet the goals of each client to achieve natural-looking
facial rejuvenation. Treatment areas include, but are not exclusive too: Lips, Cheeks (natural or glam), Jawline & Chin (feminism / masculine), Jowls (sagging skin below your chin or jawline), Nasolabial Folds (lines from nose to mouth), Marionette Lines (lines from mouth to chin), Vertical lip lines (smokers lines), Tear through (under eye) and Rhinoplasty (nose).

frequently ASKED QUESTIONS

What are Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are soft injectable gel consisting of stabilised, non-animal hyaluronic acid. The gel is tissue-friendly and closely resembles the hyaluronic acid that exists naturally in the body. It is long-lasting but not permanent.

Does it hurt?
Treatment should be as pain-free as possible. Anaesthetic cream is applied before the treatment to numb the skin. All products used also contain an anaesthetic so there is minimal pain associated with the procedure.

During the consultation, an opportunity will be given to discuss fully all concerns regarding discomfort and the products used will be available for you to view to ensure you are comfortable prior to the treatment starting.

How long does the treatment take?

Each area can normally be completed in 15 minutes.

When should I expect to see the benefits and how long do the results last?

Results are visible right away. However, dermal fillers often look at their best around 2-3 weeks after treatment when the filler has settled.

Is there any down time?

No, typically dermal fillers will be treated with little or no downtime. There maybe some redness and swelling after treatment and in some cases, there may be bruising, however, this should be easily covered with make-up. Lip augmentation often has slightly more swelling associated with the treatment but this is most often only noticeable to you.
